Wintershall Dea sells stake in Wintershall Noordzee to Mazarine Energy

Wintershall Dea GmbH sold its 50 per cent stake in Wintershall Noordzee B.V. to the exploration and production company Mazarine Energy B.V. from the Netherlands. Following the approval of the transaction by the competent authorities, closing was completed today.

The sale is part of Wintershall Dea’s tasks following the transaction of the E&P business excluding Russia-related activities to Harbour Energy on 3 September 2024. These tasks include pursuing of claims for the expropriation of the Russian assets, selling the remaining assets, and ultimately, discontinuing business operations.
